2. Service Description
PassZenith is a client-side password generation tool that:
- Generates cryptographically secure random passwords
- Operates entirely within your web browser
- Does not transmit passwords or personal data to any server
- Stores password history locally in your browser (optional)
- Is provided free of charge

PassZenith is a tool to help you create strong passwords. It is not a password manager and does not securely store passwords for retrieval. You are responsible for safely storing and managing passwords generated by this Service.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You shall not:
- Use the Service for any illegal activities
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
- Use the Service to generate passwords for unauthorized access to systems
- Distribute malware or malicious code through or in connection with the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
4. Your Responsibilities
When using PassZenith, you are solely responsible for:
- Password Security: Safely storing and managing passwords you generate
- Local Data: The security of your device and browser where password history is stored
- Backup: Exporting and backing up any important password history
- Device Security: Preventing unauthorized access to your device
- Clearing History: Removing sensitive data when using shared or public devices

Always clear your password history when using public or shared computers. PassZenith stores history in your browser's localStorage, which persists until manually cleared.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Implied warranties of merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- That the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- That passwords generated will be suitable for all security requirements
While we use cryptographically secure methods (Web Crypto API), no security measure is 100% foolproof. Use generated passwords at your own risk.
6. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PASSZENITH, ITS CREATORS, CONTRIBUTORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service
- Security breaches resulting from password reuse or mishandling
This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory upon which such liability is based.
7. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PassZenith and its creators from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights

- Change features or functionality
